Products

New catalogue

Our previous list was issued in January 2010 and is now out of date. Our new list is in the post to recent and existing customers (May 28th 2010)

The online version is available on the website and it includes many "small stock" items not in the printed version.
Downloads are available for free in the downloads section.
Printed paper copies are available for purchase in the shop.

In the meantime any species which seem to be missing, can be found from our search facility.

Spam and email

December 2008

We are currently experiencing very high levels of spam. Sadly, on a typical day, we are getting over 5,000 emails, yes you read that right - 5,000!
Most of this is junk and our filters are vigorous because of the volume.
There is a chance that some legitimate mail will not reach us because of this.

Mail sent to us from our website email form is specially flagged to make sure that it arrives in the office. It will pass our spam filters.

Mail sent by simply using 'reply' in your mailer, or from your address book will probably not arrive however.

To make sure of email arrival - please use the email form.

Despatch

Current despatch status :

2010 June

The few remaining plants still showing in the SALE on the website are available for current despatch.

The main list items are for despatch commencing after harvest, drying and ripening. This begins with Colchicum, Sternbergia and autumnal Crocus, in late July-early August. This is also the time that we send our freshly lifted, damp packed Galanthus.

Plants found on the website marked "out of stock" are seasonal and currently not available. Their normal availability can be found by looking at the red and green bar at the top of each genus.

Weather expectations

Both harvest and despatch are affected by weather. In summer this is less likely to be problematic than in the winter season, when the weather is the main factor limiting despatch.
