Nomocharis aperta CLD 229

This new strain was originally received, as seed, from the CLD expedition to China some years ago.

Stems from 15-50cm tall with graceful spikes of one to several pale rose-pink, nodding flowers with scattered purple spotting across the interior of the flower, becoming more like spickling in the centre of the widely open blooms. The exterior of the flower is deep dusky madder and makes a superb contrast in the bud.

Distinct from the 'old' form of cultivation and very lovely. These are nice bulbs grown from seed of the original importation.
