A wonderful Turkish winter-flowering species. This has silver-patterned leaves, and masses of deep pink, honey-scented flowers over a long period from January to April.
Hardy here and difficult to fault. The name is easier to deal with if you think of heliCOPTER - anthum then change 'heli' to 'tro'.
There is a suggestion that the name trochopteranthum be changed yet again. We are ignoring this for now as it is both irresponsible and extremely silly. The name was changed in the reverse direction not that long ago and that was definitely right as well!
Due to CITES permit costs of approx. £60 per item imposed by the UK Government these are not available for customers in Norway, Switzerland, USA, etc.
