An excellent plant originally from Mrs Amy Doncaster. This has remarkably broad leaves, that proclaim their difference even to the tyro. These are folded at the edges and form a perfect foil for the flowers.
The flowers are large and nicely rounded. The petals are well textured with deep green markings on its inner segments. There is also a light fragrance in warm sunshine.
A very striking and attractive form, certainly the best byzantinus clone and long-lived.
Due to CITES permit costs of approx. £60 per item imposed by the UK Government these are not available for customers in Norway, Switzerland, USA, etc.
