We regularly export to Japan.
Plants are sent by air letter post, carefully cleaned first and carefully packed. Packages are not trackable. Packaging is in paper (for dry bulbs such as Crocus) or in polythene bags using coco-peat for plants that like damp packing, such as Trillium.
When plants need a health certificate (phytosanitary certificate) to enter your country. We obtain this and the price is already included within the shipping charges quoted. There are no extra charges made by ourselves, though your plants may be liable for inspection and/or import duties when they enter your country. This is your responsibility and is not included within our charges.
Please note we no longer export CITES plants to you. Permits are needed for these and bureaucracy, high cost and office time mean that this is no longer economical.
