Chionoscilla
Chionoscilla is a bigeneric hybrid; in other words it is the result of a hybrid between two different genera (rather than just two species within one genus).
The genera involved are Chionodoxa (one of several species) and Scilla (usually only Scilla bifolia. In the past several different hybrids and some selected forms were known, but these seem to have been lost.
Chionoscilla allenii is a historical garden hybrid between the stunning, large-flowered Chionodoxa forbesii and the smaller, multi-flowered deep blue Scilla bifolia.
