Description
(formerly Leucojum autumnale pulchellum)
This form is from Morocco and S. Spain. Its distinction is that it flowers with the leaves present. Additionally its pedicels arch gracefully over at the apex (rather than being abruptly bent).
A synonym botanically but every bit as distinct horticulturally as oporanthus! Most valuable in the garden for its flowers being set off against the foliage, rather than flowering from bare ground, though, like every botanical character this will vary from year to year according to weather and climate.
