Description
Slender 30 cm stems and bright pink flowers in a dense semi-globose umbel. The flowers are much bigger (though fewer) than its closest relative Allium pallasii.
Allium anisopetalum is restricted to a very small area in the wild – Sari Tschilek Reserve in S. Kirgizstan. I have never seen it being commercially offered. I like this for its good pink colour. A few year’s experience suggests it thrives outside.
