Description
(Oscar Schoaf, Osscar Schoaff, Schoaffs Pink, Schoaffs Double Pink)
This is the classic raspberry-sorbet pink, double form and is one of the most beautiful of all spring flowers. Slow to multiply and much sought after. All superlatives fail to do this glorious little plant justice.
One tip, keep it cool in spring, the hotter the plant, the paler will be the flower colour. Good light and cool conditions keep each flower in condition for three weeks, and the whole plant in perfect shape for six.
Said to have been found in a graveyard in Minnesota, USA by Oscar Schoaff for whom (with a surname in myriad spellings) it is named.
