Description
A superb species for the garden from Manchuria in the region where Russia and China share a border. This has paired, tri-part, crisped-edged leaves and an emerald green spathe broadly lined with white.
Readily grown in almost any garden soil, best in a humus-enriched loam in light shade, but tolerant of a wide range of conditions.
This is one of the most northerly occurring species of Arisaema and as such it is very hardy.
Increases quite nicely by offsets from its naturally quite small tubers (2cm diameter is flowering size) but never a pest.
