Description
This has large tubers and broad attractive spathes strongly marked in white and deep brown. Curling from the centre is a great, fat thickened spadix with the tip drawn right out and curled up then down and out of the spathe.
Originally selected, in India, for its much large size, stout stature and bigger spathes, this is very unusual in appearance and unmistakably different. It was originally named in India as a botanical name; magnificum, but as that is not a validly published name we have accepted the newer recommendation to treat it as a cultivar name.
