Description
Plain leaves and superb, large primrose-yellow spathes with a butter-yellow spadix, all with a pleasant rose scent. This is the brightest coloured Arum and one of the few with a nice smell.
Fully hardy here and an excellent garden plant for a sunny site.
This is one of Vladimir Vasak’s “attributed” species (one which he was able to leave notes for before he died) and it was originally found in the region of Rethimno in Northern Crete over 30 years ago.
