Description
Although this form is contained botanically within the variety dioscoridis, it is horticulturally most distinct.
The spathe has a black base extending almost all of the way up the spathe but it gives way at the very tip to a very evenly-spaced, marbled and blotched lining of violet-black over green. The spadix is sandy coloured with a hint of dark colouring speckled across it, becoming more confluent at the apex. A most attractive cultivar.
