Description

This strong growing subspecies has fantastic  “flags” of green (so pale that it appears to be virtually white) around a stout olive-green to slightly purple-tinged conical spadix. More attractive than this sounds, assuming that you like Arum in the first place of course. The foliage is also strong and deep, rich green.

Very little seen in cultivation but not at all difficult, it is simply rare. It grows here outside in a south-facing raised bed, in limey loam, unprotected summer or winter.
