Description
This has exceptionally good, very well patterned leaves which are zones and splashed over their entire surface with silver and sage over a dark, bottle-green base colour.
The flowers are relatively small (though far from tiny) but they are beautifully formed , well shaped and perfectly symmetrical. This clone is an albino and it lacks all of the usual purple colours which would be present in the flower. The result is a glorious combination of soft, pastel, Citrus colours. The body of the flower being lime green, the petals are pale lemon-rind yellow whilst the mouth of the throat, where the petals meet the tube is a soft, almost creamy, citron shade. The petals themselves are thick, sharply triangular and look almost engineered in their perfection. There is a splendid contrast between all of this lovely citrusy shading and the deep, dark depths of the throat.
You might have gather, by my waxing lyrical, that this is one of my personal favourites.
