Description
A very early flowering native of the terra-rossa covered limestones of Cyprus, seldom seen in cultivation and probably even rarer in print!
This has short spikes of blue-purple flowers, which are dark in the bud, becoming paler as the flower spike elongates and the individual, bell-shaped, blooms open.
Sunny, well-drained spot in a loam based soil but neither difficult nor fussy, simply rare.
