Description
Colchicum Poseidon is, in my opinion, probably the best of the garden hybrids. It is both robust and reliable and it is very well coloured, with large, deep purple flowers atop short, stout and equally dark tubes.
The petals have a touch of true violet to them which is rare in the genus and lends a wonderful intensity to what is anyway a very good garden plant, which I like a great deal.
