Description
(formerly Merendera sobolifera)
A dwarf, early autumn species which makes a series of up-facing pink funnel-shaped flowers from a curious rhizome-like soboliferous bulbs which creeps horizontally through the soil .
Ideal in a pot where its tiny bulbs can slowly creep about, make a tight little clump and eventually fill it, or a sunny, gritty spot outside where it will make good increase but also a good display, in miniature. IOn a pot, this must not be kept too hot and dry over summer.
