Description
A fresh offering of a superb species, described in 1996, although it was know as an un-named species before that.
Lovely glaucous foliage, each leaflet with the tiniest of pink tips, below a compact spike of large, creamy white flowers. Each pink-tipped bloom is held stiffly on a red-pink pedicel. The overall effect is lovely and the plant maintains its dwarf stature under glass if kept cool and well-lit.
Hardly in cultivation but proving easy and both cold-hardy and tolerant of summer water. Turkey.
First offered in our lists May 1999.
