Description
This is a delightful form of this tough Crocus, which lacks the normal dark purple-black striping on the exterior. The result is a deep rich golden flower in which the outside of the outer three petals is plain and unmarked, though it is discernably of a different shade of yellow to the inner surfaces, just to confirm its identity! This retains the tough constitution that makes this such a good garden species.
Seldom seen or sold, but an excellent plant of which we generally have a small number available only – it is popular!
