Description
This is the first raising from plants originally found on the Nebrodi range of Northern Sicily at 1,050m in altitude.
Strong violet-purple flowers with a lovely strong fragrance. This new Sicilian stock has a much greater variability than the usually cultivated form from Italy. In addition, as it has not been been propagated vegetatively for many years, this stock is not diseased or virused, as has sadly turned out to be the case, with many mass-produced, horticultural stocks. (We do not offer these)
Doing very well here now, outside, in an open, sunny site in a free-draining, loam soil.
