Description
A new clone selected by Antoine Hoog in France from our original stock of CEH.519 (1982). Ballerina is a very lovely form with a white throat, rather than the normal one which is yellow stained. The overall appearance of the flower is pure, simple and lovely in the extreme.
The exterior of the outer petal surface is shaded with a hint of dove grey and we have noticed here that the flowers of this form always have a tiny, but characteristic, violet mark on the very tips of the outermost three petals. This is visible inside and out and is not present in any of our other forms. You can see the mark more clearly in some of our gallery pictures, then once you have spotted it, you will see it on all of the pictures!
