Description
One of the most robust and attractive of the spring species. Early in the year it makes masses of large white flowers, perhaps the largest of all of the species. The white is set-off by a golden yellow throat with a warm rose basal infusion.
Easy in cultivation and does well outside here despite it being confined in the wild to just a small area of Croatia (from whence this stock, CEH.519, originated in 1982).
