Description
A particularly large form with a tiny touch of blue to the outer three petals and a wonderful, late-flowering habit. This is the very latest of all of our forms of Crocus niveus, usually opening in November and lasting until well into December, even under glass (which is not essential, but it is nice to be able to see the late flowers in perfect condition in winter).
The leaf growth is similarly late emerging and also lasts way past the usual late spring aestivation.
Introduced to our lists April 2018.
