Description

(Crocus serotinus salzmannii )

Again from an original Moroccan find this is the largest flowered of the new KPW forms, though our Ma form just pips it to the title of “all round largest”. It was first found near Jebel Tazzeka, at 1,000m by the KPW team.

Good sized purple flowers with faint feathering at the base of the petals, and prostrate foliage.

All of these new forms like well drained soil in sun, but are tolerant of summer water.
