Description
(Crocus pallasii White, C. pallasii turcicus White)
A lovely new colour break with a white background colour and the faintest filigree of fine purple lines, hardly visible at first glance but enough to enhance the colouring.
Segregated from a (hand pollinated) seed-raised stock of our VV.TW.855 collection. That original collection, made by the late Vladimir Vasak in the 1980s as C. pallasii became C. pallasii subsp. turcicus and now this has become C. turcicus as it has now been elevated to species rank, hence the subtle name changes over the years.
