Description
This has angular, patterned and zoned leaves which sit through the late autumn and winter, then, suddenly in March, very large, bright yet pale pink, angular flowers appear above them. I am tempted t say, based on cultivated plants anyway, that this is the largest flowered of the true, wild Cyclamen.
Very lovely. the largest flowered of all of the species. Lost to cultivation for many years but eventually rediscovered in Lebanon some time ago and where it may still hang on, but this is a rare plant in the wild. It is delightfully easy in cultivation however.
