Description
This name has been used in the past to distinguish plants of Czech origins and it has been known as ‘Cyclamen fatrense’ also.
The defining characteristics are the plain green leaves with better coloured flowers than normal. Though this is usually plain-leaved, forms with lightly marked leaves are known in the wild and the absolute characters are not so absolute as the flower colour also varies a little.
Coming as it does from a very cold part of central Europe, this has the reputation of being more cold-tolerant than typical purpurascens and it does very well in the garden.
for UK customers ONLY
NOT available for E.U., Japan, Norway, Switzerland, U.S.A. etc. Cyclamen are no longer shipped outside of the UK because of the high cost and excessive bureaucracy associated with CITES permits.
