Description

This is a relatively recently described and quite newly introduced species.

It makes medium sized growths of grass-like foliage and a clump, that may, in time, achieve no more than 70cm across by about 60cm tall. Above the foliage are borne arching stems bearing heads of hanging, pink to pink-purple flowers which are noticeably packed into the flower head, rather than being lax. The spikes are made in June and July.

Full sun, or the very lightest touch of shade with not too much water, i.e. avoid wet spots!  Seemingly hardy in the UK.
