Description
This is one of the parents of the excellent Lowland Legacy, but we have not had enough of the straight species to spare before now.
This is a rare plant in cultivation and is classically thought of as coming from Cyprus but apparently it extends across the world to Russia, China, India and even parts of Africa.
The petals are green with a heavy overlay of claret at the base, whilst the lip is a complex mix of raspberry red, orange and white.
A vigorous plant happy in a damp to wet spot. Ours are divisions, of flowering size, but these may need a year to establish.
NOT available for U.S.A., Norway, Switzerland, etc.
Epipactis are no longer shipped outside of the UK and EU.
