Description

Small, blue-green leaves heavily and attractively overlaid with brown marbling. These sit in a pair below 5 cm stems carrying bright gold flowers, stained externally with Indian red.

This is a flowering form (I stress this as some clones increase spectacularly at the expense of flowering) which is excellent in peaty shade. Grown by us for many years, sent to Scotland and now retrieved and available again.

The new tubers form on the end of short stolons, usually more than one per parent plant. These are naturally tiny but with good culture they will be large enough to flower again each year.
