Description
The palest shade of lavender kid, shaded lilac with a slightly greenish centre inside, marked with large, Indian red spot . As close to white as possible without actually being clinically white! The leaves are irregularly mottled with both green and brown.
Originally introduced by the Dutch firm of van Tubergen, but subsequently the name seems to have become used for plants in cultivation that do not correspond to the original ones. We have a new true stock, at last.
This clone received a Trial Garden award from the Royal (Dutch) General Bulbgrowers’ Association in 1960.
