Description
For a long time white Fritillaria persica was a rumour, then it materialised in the garden of Janis Ruksans in Latvia. A seedling of persica Adiyaman, this has flowers which open as a green infused cream but mature to creamy-ivory white, with all the form and substance of its parent. Stems vary from 70-100 cm tall.
An imposing and very attractive plant looking good on its own, or planted with the purple form. Both enjoy the same sunny, loamy soils with a dry summer rest to aid flowering and good drainage.
