Description
Lovely yellow-green flowers with elongated, frilled petals. The flowers remind me very much of Lilium lophophorum in appearance. In spite of being a winter growing species, this species actually flowers very late, in early June.
It does well in the garden but does need supplemental waterings if the weather is dry during its bud development. A tall and slim plant with very elegant, arching spikes of flowers. Happy in a sunny, fertile spot, but not too dry when in growth.
