Description
A delightful species which is inclined to being clump-forming. Each bulb makes two, curved, blueish- green leaves which are hairy on the edge and richly banded and zebra-striped at the base in olive green. These sit below an umbel of up to 40 powder-pink to raspberry-red-pink flowers in the autumn, surrounded by bracts also coloured pale to deep rose pink.
A rare but very attractive plant known only from a small area bounded by the Roggeveld Mountains and Loeriesfontein.
