Description

The plants have slightly elongated but rounded, soft-green leaves covered in a short, sparse, silvery down and held closely pressed close to the ground. The flowers are held in a tennis-ball sized globe atop a stem 7-10 cm in height and are soft, very pale pink. The stems are red-tinged and hairy. Flowering time is just as the new leaves of the season emerge at the beginning of the summer.

This is a new stock which we obtained as “Giant Form” and it is substantially larger (and better) than many of the dwarfer forms, though it is still not large as this isnt a gaint species!

Easily grown and flowered, blooming regularly from May to September here.
