Description
Large deep-green leaves are deeply cut into narrow toothed segments, in a whorl, the whole plant some 30-40 cm tall and covered in pale lime-green flower clusters.
This likes a well-drained, spring-moist, limey soil. This is a seed-raised strain from gardens but originally of Greek origins, where the parents were found in the deep shade of Platanus and Castanea.
As a rule this strain is December flowering we try to make it available early (with our Autumn bulbs) to give you time to order early, however it may be in bud, in flower or past its flowering best, if ordered in spring
