A new stock, from parents themselves resulting from wild collected seed.
This in early-flowering plant, sometimes even opening before Christmas. The 4-5 cm, slightly ‘starry’, flowers open green maturing to a paler shade with whitish edges to the petals and a very unusual currant-like, sweet scent.
A plant of light woodlands in its native Southern Italy and Sicily.
Please bear in mind that the early flowering nature of this plant means that if ordered in Spring, or even after Christmas, it may well be advanced in growth and it may have already flowered.
