Description
This comes from the region of North Italy and adjacent Istria, hence the name. It has leaves with ten or so, 4 cm long, segments, thus they are less divided than other forms.
The flowers are large and pale to mid-green, and resemble some of the forms of the related H. odorus. Some have flowers take on bronzed tones on the exterior as they mature.
Light shade is best, in a well drained soil.
Raised from a Leon Doyen seed collection
