Description
The rarely seen Sicilian form which botanists may tell you falls into subspecies bocconei. As ours are from Sicilian seed we have kept the name, for now at least.
This has 4-7 cm greenish-white flowers over divided foliage, that is attractively cut and slashed into ever smaller segments, 15-20 per leaf.
A very attractive form of an attractive garden plant notable for making its flowers very early in the year. If you want a Christmas ‘Christmas Rose’, then this is the one for you!
