Description
This is a lovely stock of a plant that would once have been called guttatus, to my eye one of the most beautiful of all of our forms. Found near ‘Eagle Rocks’ in the central Agura river valley in the Colchis region of the south western Caucasus over 20 years ago.
The flowers are a lovely pale creamy colour with an infusion of emerald green and then red dots all over the inside, but concentrated in the centre of the flower. The intensity of these does vary from plant to plant of course, as this is a seed raised strain.
Mature plants attain 30 cm x 30 cm in size. Does well under ordinary garden conditions.
