Description
Everything that we have been able to ascertain about this one is encompassed in the phrase that came to us from Japan – “Tomato-Red”.
The pictures sent to us show a range of excellent deep, rich slightly purplish red, with some variation around the basic theme. This may be an age-effect or it may be that this name applies to a strain rather than a clone, but all have flowered in Japan and are proven as ‘red’ as opposed to a pink-purple colour.
Those that have flowered here have all been in shades of deep, intense cerise-red.
