Description
Rounded, very symmetrical discs of ruby red with very rounded outer petals which overlap to make a rounded disc.
Inside this, the inner whorls are of overlapping discs of very slightly paler red gradually becoming more pointed towards the centre of the flower where the tiny central white zone becomes gradually larger culminating in a white centre. This is perfection in shape and form and the gradation of both colour and shape is remarkable, all the while conforming to Fibonacci spirals in two directions.
Introduced to our lists in December 2019
