Description
Brand new addition to our Japanese Hepatica listings for 2019 this is one that we couldn’t resist when we were offered some at a very favourable price.
Hinamatsurei has an outer whorl crammed with around 12, hot pink segments which are broad and overlapping, making a perfect disc to show off and highlight the inner whorl. This consists of multiple, narrower, almost parallel-sided white and pink petals which are curled, coiled and twisted at the tips, where they are also coloured the same hot pink as the main body of the flower. The overall impression is whorly.
In the centre of the flower (which is white) is a tight, jade-green button the tips of white are white.
A real beauty, consistently whirly and very attractive. This is classic perfection and it is a form which features on the Hepatica show benches, in Japan, almost every year.
