Description
A true beauty which makes a stunning display with large white flowers each petal in which has a tiny picotee stain of wine red around the edges. This strains to darker, with advancing age, though mostly on the interior of the flower, whilst the exterior preserves a silvery pink colour.
The inside of the flower (which is a single flower incidentally) is a filled mass of anthers and petalloid anthers of bright pink and there are a lot of them. Together they make a lovely Catherine-wheel of pink arranged around the central green boss. The whole flower, with its slightly cupped shape, is perfectly set off by bright lime-green bracts behind each bloom.
New to our lists November 2017.
