Description

Narrow, paired, glaucous leaves just 6-12 mm wide sit below a loose raceme of around a dozen, lovely, limpid pale-blue flowers, each 5mm bell-shaped bloom being held on a short 3 mm pedicel.

One of Karin Persson’s new species described in 1981 from around 1,100-1,300m altitude on the central Turkish plateau, a harsh cold area which fits this plant well for garden or alpine house cultivation.
