Description
This is a wonderful May flowering plant with robust dwarf spikes of pure crystalline white flowers of heavy texture, reliably every year. These have contrasting yellow pollen. We grow it in a raised bed in full sun, but it is very tolerant.
From a single bulb collected at Cabo são Vicente (the most south westerly point of Europe), by the late Vic Horton many years ago and preserved here ever since.
