Description
Vigorous with flower stems 30-55cm tall and up to three flowers on each. The standards are white, shading to brown at the edge. The falls are broadly edged with chocolate, shaded violet, with a purple centre, edged in white. Beard sky-blue. The colours work well.
This is a new, seed-raised stock, (different even to last year’s seed raised stock) but raised from the old Dutch strain of commerce. We do it this way, as many forms of this species in cultivation are virused. A benefit of seed raised plants is a splendid variability in colour. The plant shown is just one of the forms.
