Description
Nursery grown stock of typical Leucojum vernum, the Spring Snowflake.
Normally almost all have one flower per bulb with the typical green apical markings on each of the 6 petals. However this stock is a bit different in that almost all plants have (when established) two flowers per stem and the apical markings are more of a yellow-green than a deep green. The result (answerable to none of the existing cultivars names) is a lovely plant indeed
Stock raised from plants originally sent to the late Michael Hoog and received by him in 1974 from Wachauer Alpengarten, Herrn Strohmeier, Schönbühel, Austria.
