Description
This has jaffa-peel yellow flowers dotted all over with little markings of deep brown. Large yellow-orange anthers complement the appearance of this very attractive lily with its wavy-edged whorled leaves on stems up to 150 cm tall.
Apparently quite widespread in its native USA but this is not the case in cultivation, where it is rarely seen.
Easily grown in a well-drained soil, enriched with leaf matter or peat, light-shade seems best but this may be fanciful, as it seems to be a tolerant species.
